Greg Sabo is a co-founder and Principal of Tone Capital and serves as the firm’s Portfolio Manager. He has more than 20 years of experience in institutional equity sales, trading, and portfolio management.
Before co-founding Tone Capital in 2016, Greg spent 14 years as Managing Director of Institutional Trading at BB&T Capital Markets in Richmond, where he managed relationships with many of the firm’s largest institutional clients. He began his career in equities at Wheat First Butcher & Singer, serving as Director of Sales Trading.
Greg earned a B.A. in Economics from Swarthmore College and an M.B.A. from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business. He holds the Chartered Market Technician® designation and is a member of CMT Association. Greg is also an adjunct professor of finance at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business and serves on the advisory board of its Student Managed Investment Fund.
